The Great Peach Experiment, Book 1: When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Peach Pie by Erin Soderberg Downing. After a hard year, Lucy, Freddy and Herb Peach are hoping for a quiet summer. Instead their dad spends the family's unexpected windfall on a second-hand food truck and announces a cross-country pie-selling road trip — their late mum's old dream. Not one of them knows how to bake.

A warm, funny middle-grade novel about a family finding its feet again. First in a four-book series. Suggested ages 8–12.
