I’m Cecilia, the person behind Natventure. And I'm glad you found me here.
The name Natventure holds a special meaning for me. It represents "Nature's Adventure", and it's also a tribute to my four Nats! Bet most of you didn't know that.
A Little More About Me
Before the kids came along, I was working with the Ministry as a social worker for 10 years, uplifting the lives of vulnerable families and children, helping them move out of the poverty cycle.
After my second child, I was certain that I did not want to go back to work in an office (the red tape from doing backend work in the Ministry frustrates the life out of me). So while I was on my maternity leave, I started Natventure as a passion project, not knowing that I would come so far. My next bookish ambition is to publish my own children's book. And I'm putting this out there so all of you can hold me accountable to it. If not it would be just remain as something that I think about.
I've also been working as a financial planner with Financial Alliance, with a goal of walking through life's financial journey with my clients. You can read more on that here!
