Science Discovery Files: 10 Forgotten Stories of Incredible Scientists by Diane Lincoln. Ten short accounts of scientists whose discoveries changed what we know, but whose names most people have never heard — the people behind the science, and how the discoveries actually happened.

Published by WS Education, the children's imprint of Singapore's World Scientific. Written for older primary and lower secondary readers, and a good way in for children who think science is not for them. Suggested ages 10 and up.
