The ball was beautiful. It was also a terrible waste.

Sustain-erella works all hours for her stepmother and her stepsisters, Mean-ella and Meaner-ella, until the invitation to the Prince’s Ball arrives. The ball is not what she hoped — and she sets about changing the kingdom.

What your child will learn

• How much waste a single party can make
• Small swaps that cut down on throwing things away
• That one person can change the way things are done
